In development

Not yet released — dates are not promised, things ship when they are ready

  • The 35 elemental skills — every family already has five element versions built and drawn. They are held back for events and quests rather than dropped into boxes.
  • Mythic titans — all five exist and are finished. They are event content, not box content, and the first event will say so plainly.
  • Rewarded ads — an optional way to double your raid loot. Always optional, never forced, and there are none in the game today.

v1.6.9 — build 74 Out now

Released 15 September 2026 — out of testing, live on Google Play

Shield & Shred is out of testing. This is the first release on Google Play’s production track, available to everyone in 177 countries and regions. Thank you to every tester who helped shape it.

The shop is open

  • Optional Gem and Coin packs — six of each, for real money. Gems are also earned in the game, from daily missions and milestones.
  • Titan Boxes for gems — an X1 for 50, an x10 for 450 once you reach Diamond, and an x100 for 4,500 once you reach Grand Champion. There is no x1000 for sale. Boxes still drop free from raids, daily missions and Boss Rush.
  • The odds are one tap away — tap the i at the end of the TITAN BOXES heading to see the odds for each size you can buy. How a box decides what to pay you is written out on the Titan Box guide.
  • Still no ads.

Settings

  • Crash Reports — a switch to turn crash reporting off. What a report contains is in the privacy policy.
  • Privacy Options — reopens the consent choice, in regions where one is required.

Plus a long list of fixes and polish from open testing.

v1.6.1 — build 66 Open testing

Released 3 September 2026 — the first public release

The last build players held was build 62, three weeks and four hundred commits ago. This is a big one, so the important part goes first.

Read this first: every account has been reset

  • Every account that existed before this update has been wiped clean. Coins, crystals, titans, buildings, career stats and badges all go back to zero. Almost every number in the economy changed, and a half-converted account would have been worse than a fresh one. Brand-new players are unaffected.
  • The first launch shows a card titled A FRESH START that explains it before the welcome screens. You cannot miss it and you cannot dismiss it by accident.
  • If your account existed before 1 September 2026, a letter is waiting in the bell: 30,000 coins, 10,000 crystals, a Titan Box x10, and the DAY ONE title — which nobody who joins after the reset can ever earn. Finish the short tutorial, then open the bell and claim it.
  • ⚠ Claim anything else in your inbox before you update. Only the compensation letter is re-sent; every other unclaimed letter goes with the rest of the account.
  • ⚠ Do not uninstall or clear app data first. The reset finds your device on its own. Wiping the app beforehand looks like a brand-new install — no reset card, and no letter.
  • Until an account has been through the reset it is hidden from the league table and skipped by matchmaking, so nobody is ranked against — or plundered for — a balance that is about to be deleted.

New mode: BOSS RUSH

  • Every five to nine completed raids, PLAY NOW hands you a boss instead of an opponent. The gap is drawn in advance and every length is equally likely.
  • Forty seconds, no turns, and the boss never hits back — it has no health bar, so a Boss Rush cannot be lost. It is purely how hard you can hit in the time you have.
  • Everything you land fills a LOOT BONUS up to +300%. Reach the ceiling and the fight ends early on OVERKILL.
  • The meter measures against your own attack, so a higher-level titan does not get the bonus for free. It is the same bar for a level 10 account and a level 90 one.
  • A boss pays rank stars and one guaranteed titan box, and nothing else. No coins, no crystals. One box in ten is the x10. It is the only fight in the game that pays rank stars at all.
  • Three bosses with their own art, animation and entrance: EMBERKHAN (fire), DEEPMAW (water) and GRAVEBLOOM (toxic). Counter-picking the element is worth a straight 20% more bonus.

Skills belong to you now, not to your titan

  • You build a loadout — one attack, one defence, one support and an ultimate — and any titan you field carries it. The fixed kit each titan used to come with is gone.
  • 42 skills and ultimates across seven families: Strike, Venom, Guard, Mend, Leech, Crush and Berserk. Every one has its own painted card. Three of those families — Crush, Venom and Leech — never actually worked before and do now.
  • Upgrades has three tabs now — TITANS, SKILLS and ULTIMATE — where it used to be one grid with a popup buried inside it.
  • Slots open as your titan levels: the first at 5, the second at 15, the third and the ultimate at 30. The ultimate pool itself waits on Citadel level 10.
  • Element is identity, not power. Every element version of a family hits for the same; what matching your titan buys is a set bonus of +10%, +15% or +25% for one, two or three matching slots.
  • Seven skills are claimable today — one per family. The 35 element versions are held back for events and quests.
  • Skills and ultimates level to 100 on their own material, so pouring everything into one is a real decision rather than a shared pot.

Titans: evolve is gone

  • There is no evolve step any more. No separate action, no separate price, no wall waiting at level 25, 50 and 75. One LEVEL UP button carries a titan from 2 to 100 and its tier simply follows its level.
  • A level costs coins plus that titan's own material. The single shared pool is retired, so what you collect decides who you can raise.
  • Rare and better titans are cheaper in material than they were — rarity is priced in coins only now.
  • You may notice the armour figure on a card changed: it is a plain number now, because the old card printed a rating and a percentage side by side on two different scales.

Boxes, blueprints, and how you get anything new

  • A titan box no longer hands you a titan. It pays cards — DNA for what you own, blueprints for what you do not — and when a blueprint bar fills you go to Upgrades and press UNLOCK yourself.
  • A titan needs 100, 150, 200 or 250 blueprints by rarity; any skill or ultimate needs 100.
  • Four box sizes — X1, x10, x100 and x1000 — each with its own chest, its own seam light and its own opening. The x1000 is already burning before the lid snaps.
  • Every box now shows what it paid: rewards fade in one at a time with their counts rolling up, and CONTINUE only arrives once everything has landed.
  • Raids drop boxes on a published schedule, and climbing trades frequency for size — an x10 from Diamond, an x100 from Grand Champion. The full rules are on the guides page.

Raids have real stakes

  • Beating a real player now genuinely takes coins and crystals out of their stash, settled on the server. Your winnings used to be created for you and their wallet was never touched.
  • A win pays two separate things: a fixed reward for your league — 3,000 coins in Bronze up to 300,000 in Legend — plus whatever you plunder on top. Neither leg eats the other any more.
  • No raid can ever take more than 15% of what an opponent left unprotected, however many bonuses the raider stacks.
  • Revenge is capped at three a day, and its bonus multiplies only the game's own reward — never what it steals from the person you are answering.
  • Your first 20 raids carry a fading head start, +20% board damage on raid one tapering to nothing by raid twenty — covering the stretch before your titan has any skill slots at all.
  • Healing droplets are much rarer but far bigger, each worth 15% of your maximum health, and raids are properly loseable again.
  • Leaving a raid is one tap and costs nothing: the defender is untouched and the fight simply never happened.
  • The titan defending against you now charges one automatic special attack of its own, instead of casting a copy of a player's kit.

Eleven leagues, and stars that mean something

  • Your league now sets what a raid win pays rather than capping it, and the promotion ceremony itemises exactly what the new tier bought.
  • Career badges were rebuilt on the league ranks: twelve badges, 33 rungs each, named Bronze through Legend. The four badges that could never be finished are gone, and the badge that tracks your collection pays titan boxes instead of currency.
  • The badge list is sorted so it stops rearranging itself while you read it — claimable first, then earned, then locked.

A face, a frame and a name that are actually yours

  • Avatar frames and titles are in — eight frames, sixteen titles and twelve avatar slots, all set from your profile.
  • What you wear now shows up everywhere it should: the menu, the league table, the versus screen, the battle chips and the result screen.
  • When you raid a real player you finally see the avatar they actually chose. The game used to draw a stranger's face guessed from their name and throw the real one away.

Your first hour

  • The tutorial is rebuilt around six lessons, each one a goal you claim: build, finish the base, spend a buff point, collect a craft, upgrade a building, level your titan.
  • Bubbles speak in two lines — a white line saying what is true, a green line saying the one thing to do — and they point at the exact control they are talking about.
  • The first two raids you win after the tutorial drop a titan box outright, so the collection loop is in your hands before the random drop rate takes over.
  • PLAY NOW no longer dead-ends looking for an opponent right after the tutorial, and the wait before a battle is gone — the versus screen is drawn the moment you tap.

Daily play, base and screens

  • Daily missions were rebuilt to a 36-mission sheet with five element ladders and a “cast skills” ladder that only appears once you have a titan that can cast. The daily login reward is gone — the missions replaced it.
  • Building levels were rebuilt: the crafts each level asks for step from 1 up to 8 across the ladder instead of pinning at 8, and timers jump hard early then ease off. The full climb to 100 lands within a fraction of a percent of where it was.
  • Everything with a clock — missions, the weekly event, drop decay — now rolls over at the same moment: midnight Israel time, and Sunday midnight for the week.
  • The versus screen is rebuilt as three beats: your titan is summoned alone, the enemy answers as a silhouette with its name struck out, and the clash reveals them.
  • Notifications are a full screen now, with a MAIL tab, two-line previews and a trash button. Opening a letter shows its rewards as the game's own icons rather than a line of text.
  • Buttons answer on the frame you tap them rather than after a server round-trip.

Be straight about these

  • The game now needs an internet connection. Raids, your wallet and your progress are settled on the server. You get a clear notice rather than a broken game, and a battle pauses rather than letting an enemy hit you while you stare at it.
  • The shop is closed. Every purchase was already unavailable; now the door is shut too. That also removes the titan box you could buy with in-game coins — boxes come from raids, daily missions and bosses now.
  • Mythic titans and the 35 element skills are visible but marked SOON. They are reserved for events, not obtainable in this build. Fifteen of the twenty titans are collectible today.
  • Four of the six craftable battle items currently do nothing in a fight. Only the shield and the attack boost take effect. It is a bug and it is on the list.
  • If the servers go down you get a proper maintenance notice with a time to come back, and it lifts without you relaunching.

v1.5.0 — build 62

Released 13 August 2026

Raids bite back

  • Defenders hit twice as hard. Raids were running far safer than they were ever designed to — you were finishing most of them at around 80–90% health, which meant the fight was never really in doubt. You will now typically walk out at about half health, and climbing the ladder no longer quietly makes you safer.
  • Skills hit far harder — more than twice their old damage. A cast costs mana but never costs you a turn, so using your kit well now genuinely shortens a raid instead of just decorating it. Casting is a decision again.
  • These two pull in opposite directions on purpose: the defender buff makes raids longer and more dangerous, the skill buff hands you the tool to cut them short.

Your base keeps pace

  • Early craft and upgrade timers were rebuilt. A craft used to finish before you had time to go and raid for the crystals that paid for it, so your base sat idle most of the time. The early levels are meaningfully longer now — the total climb is essentially unchanged.
  • Every upgrade visibly moves the timer. Levels 3 and 4 used to show the exact same craft time, so upgrading looked like it had done nothing at all. That was a rounding fault, not the curve — and because your buildings are gated together, all four showed the same frozen number at once.

Six new music tracks

  • The menu now draws from four tracks and battles from six, picked at random. Previously each had a single track on loop.

Screens that explain themselves

  • Shop packs you can tell apart at a glance — every coin, gem and mutagen bundle has its own artwork sized to what it holds.
  • Power Level numbers actually move. At low levels, levelling a titan used to change the number on your badge by nothing at all.
  • The orange dot is a trail now. It leads you from the bottom bar, to the titan that can level, to the button that levels it — and it only ever points at the titan you actually fight with.
  • The building screen says what it does. Buttons name the action and the time it takes, the building’s name and description are always on screen instead of hidden behind an info icon, and the passive buff tiles are full-colour and finally look like the buttons they always were.
  • The result screen pays out one line at a time, with CONTINUE arriving last — after the numbers have finished counting, so the screen can no longer be dismissed before it has told you anything.
  • Messages fit on the screen. Refusals are short and readable, and locked shop items now tell you why they are locked instead of doing nothing when tapped.
  • Opening the Upgrades screen no longer flashes black.

Star totals corrected

  • Stars used to be paid by raid outcomes. They now come from progress you have made — buildings, titan levels, skills — so some long-standing accounts were carrying a total the game could no longer produce. Affected accounts were corrected upward to match what they actually own. Nobody lost stars.

v1.5.0 — build 48

Released 11 August 2026

Every raid is a fair fight now

  • Every matchup runs about the same length. Some fights used to be over in three moves and others were a grind — and which one you got was decided by the titan you happened to own, not by how you played.
  • Titan archetypes were rebuilt around this. Armour and health are now two sides of the same coin: the tougher a titan is to hurt per hit, the smaller its health pool. Nothing is strictly better than anything else any more.
  • Archetypes still play differently — shields, heals, how many sigil charges you can bank — but none of it decides how long your raid takes.

Rarity now means exactly what it says

  • A higher rarity titan is stronger by a clear, predictable amount — roughly 15% per tier, so a Mythic is worth about half again a Normal in a fight.
  • Two titans of the same rarity meet as equals. A Mythic mirror match is now the same fight as a Normal mirror match, which was not true before.
  • You may notice the armour percentage on a Rare or better titan’s card has gone down. The card was overstating it; the number now matches what actually happens in a raid.

Attack skills respect enemy armour

  • Skill damage used to ignore the defender’s armour completely, which made skills wildly stronger against heavily armoured titans than against anything else.
  • Now there is one rule for all damage: your attack, their armour, board or skill. A cast is worth about the same share of a fight against every opponent.
  • Skill numbers were rescaled to match, so a cast hits for about what it always did against a middle-of-the-road defender.

Fixed: you were quietly missing three passive slots

  • Every account had this. Passive slots were filled once, during your very first raid — when you owned exactly one titan. The other three then stayed empty permanently, unless you happened to find the Citadel’s PASSIVES tab.
  • Slots now fill as you collect titans. Existing accounts get their missing slots back on the next raid.
  • This was the single largest amount of power anyone was losing, and it was invisible.

Fixed: some raids could not be won

  • Matchmaking could hand a new player a defender dozens of levels above them — not a hard fight, an impossible one.
  • Opponents are now capped relative to your own titan. Beating someone above your weight still pays their full value.

Fixed: two daily missions were impossible to finish

  • “Win 2 PvP raids” only counted real players, but matchmaking serves practice opponents whenever there is nobody suitable online. On those days the mission could not be completed — and because the Titan Box needs all five, one stuck mission cost you the box. Replaced with “Win 10 raids”.
  • “Play 2 raids” counted your losses and ignored your wins.

Shop

  • Two tabs instead of three — DEALS and RESOURCES.
  • Titan Box drop chances are now in the game, on an info button: every rarity, the odds for a single named titan, and what the pity rule really guarantees.
  • Gem purchases ask you to confirm. Gems cost real money; a mis-tap should not.
  • Short on gems? The shop takes you to where they come from instead of just refusing.

Improved

  • Rewards fly from whatever paid them. Claiming a building sent its stars shooting out of the middle of the screen; crystals from a raid flew into a building that stopped being your vault a while ago.
  • Claiming a daily mission no longer flashes the whole screen, and it finally shows the coins and crystals flying to your counters.
  • Orange dots mark anything waiting for you: a claimable mission, a titan that can be levelled, a skill you can rank.
  • A locked building buff now tells you it is locked instead of opening and spoiling it.

Under the hood

  • Updated for Android 16.

v1.5.0 — build 44

Released 11 August 2026

New: daily missions

  • Five objectives every day, rotating from a larger pool. Each pays coins, crystals or mutagen.
  • Clear all five and you open a free Titan Box — the same box the shop sells, same odds, same pity rule.
  • The set resets at midnight UTC. Miss a day and you lose nothing; a fresh five is waiting.

New: crafting

  • Six battle items forged in the Titan Forge with crystals and time: Ooze Flask, Chitin Ward, Acid Vial, Reshuffle Charm, Bone Charm and Titan Serum.
  • Take three into a raid. Choosing which three is a real decision before every fight.
  • Rage Vial and Crystal Aegis are no longer sold in the shop — they are crafted now.

New: eleven leagues

  • Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Champion, Grand Champion, Master, Grandmaster, Mythic and Legend — each with its own skull.
  • Every league raises your raid loot cap for coins, crystals and mutagen. Ranking up also pays a one-time bonus.
  • Promotion now plays a celebration that shows exactly what it unlocked, before and after.
  • Everyone starts this update lower on the ladder. That is expected, not a bug: the ladder used to end at 30,000 stars and now runs to 3,500,000, so your rank is now a fraction of a much longer climb.

Rebuilt: base and titan progression

  • Progression runs in four clear stages. Early levels move in seconds and minutes; the last ten are measured in hours.
  • The 4.5-day upgrade timer is gone. No upgrade now takes longer than a day.
  • Craft costs are tied to what a raid actually pays, so raiding stays worth doing at every stage instead of becoming optional late.
  • Upgrading the Citadel pays triple stars.

Improved

  • Opening a Titan Box hits harder — the chest lands with weight, light leaks from the lid as it rattles, and the rarity reveal is its own moment. Rarer titans get a bigger celebration.
  • The shop leads with the Titan Box and is easier to read at a glance. Crystals are no longer for sale — raids are the only source.
  • Power Level and Rank Stars now explain themselves with your real numbers instead of a wall of text.

Fixed

  • Three screens that drew nothing. The Power Level popup opened empty, its info button had no icon, and the DAILY button did not appear at all.
  • The retreat warning lied. It said you would lose 5 league stars; that penalty was removed some time ago. Retreating costs loot, never stars.
  • Double Loot paid your doubled stolen crystals as coins instead.
  • Losing a raid could pay more loot than your league should allow.
  • The league screen described the old rank bonus rather than the loot cap that replaced it.

v1.5.0 — build 39

Released 9 August 2026

Fixed

  • The tutorial could not be completed. A step waited for a building that had been renamed, so new players were stuck at the Citadel. This was the reason for the release.

Improved

  • Upgrades screen transitions no longer flash black on the way in or out.
  • Your equipped titan is marked with a green stroke around its card and an ACTIVE badge, instead of a green name and a floating tag.
  • Bottom bar buttons are labelled and respond when you press them. They previously had no visible pressed state at all.
  • Costs show coin and crystal icons rather than the words.
  • Power Level and star count can be tapped to see what they mean and how to raise them.
  • Locked titans show a padlock. They were briefly showing a black square.
  • The Citadel PASSIVES tab is visible from the start but unlocks at Citadel level 5, so you can see what levelling buys.
  • Settings shows the build number next to the version.
